  1. It's 2 cups of Red Gravy(used Tomatoes here).
  2. Prepare 1 cup of dry green peas (soak overnight).
  3. It's 1 of bay leaf.
  4. It's 3-4 of cloves.
  5. It's 3-4 of Black Pepper corns.
  6. It's 1 inch of cinnamon stick.
  7. You need as per taste of Salt (while boiling peas).
  8. It's 2 tbsp of Shreeji Usal Masala.
  9. You need 1/4 tsp of Turmeric Powder.
  10. It's 1/2 tsp of red chilli powder.
  11. You need as required of Water.
  12. It's as required of Dry coriander leaves(due to lockdown otherwise use fresh leaves).

  1. Take a cooker add soak green peas, water, salt..
  2. Along with bay leaf, cinnamon, cloves, black pepper. Close the lid and give 4 whistle. On high flame..
  3. Off the gas and leave to cool down. Open the cooker now..
  4. Take a pan add gravy with oil. In a bowl add red chilli, Turmeric Powder, usal masala and water. Mix it add to the gravy. Now add Boiled green peas..
  5. Add required water. Get it boil for 5 min so all masala incorporate and get little thicker. Now add dry coriandor leaves..
  6. Dry Green Peas Usal is ready. Serve with Sev and pav. In the same way, we can make Usal from Moong Usal, White Peas Usal, chickpeas Usal etc.etc..
