Bahan Membuat Dal Khichdi
- It's of rice.
- It's of moong dal.
- Prepare of toor(arhar) dal.
- Prepare of ghee.
- Prepare of water.
- Prepare of bay leaf.
- It's of slit green chillies.
- You need of red chillies.
- Prepare of cumin seeds.
- You need of asafoetida.
- Prepare of curry leaves.
- It's of coriander leaves finely chopped.
- You need of turmeric powder.
- You need of red chilli powder.
- You need of garam masala.
- Prepare of tomato finely chopped.
- Prepare of garlic pod finely chopped (optional).
- It's of kasuri methi.
Langkah Memasak Dal Khichdi
- Rinse rice and lentils together and soaked for 30 minutes..
- Heat the 1 1/2 tsp ghee in cooker. Add cumin seeds,asafoetida,1/2 tbsp kasuri methi, garlic,slit green chillies, curry leaves, turmeric powder and sauté. Add finely chopped tomato and sauté..
- Now add 1/2 tsp red chilli powder, 1/4 tsp garam masala and tej patta, mix all ingredients together well..
- Add rice and lentils. Add water and stir well. Add salt according to taste..
- Close the lid and pressure cook the dal khichdi for 2 whistle on high flame.Then sim the gas and cook it for 5 minutes..
- Switch off the gas. Let the pressure release naturally..
- Open the lid and mix the khichdi well..
- Heat the ghee in small pan on low flame for tadka. Add cumin seeds,pinch asafoetida, 1/2 tbsp kasuri methi, red chilli,1/2 tsp red chilli powder and pour tadka over it..
- Dal khichdi is ready. Serve with raita..
