Bahan Membuat Dal Khichdi (ข้าวต้มอินเดีย)

  1. It's of rice.
  2. You need of tuvr dal.
  3. Prepare of Chana dal.
  4. Prepare of Masoor dal.
  5. Prepare of ghee.
  6. Prepare of cumin.
  7. You need of garlic – minced.
  8. Prepare of Ginger – Julienne.
  9. It's of green chili finely chopped.
  10. It's of medium onion – chopped.
  11. It's of tomatoes finely chopped.
  12. You need of salt.
  13. You need of turmeric powder.
  14. Prepare of Coriander powder.
  15. You need of Kasoori methi (optional).
  16. Prepare of red chili powder.
  17. Prepare of dried red chillies.
  18. It's of Fresh coriander - to garnish.

Langkah Memasak Dal Khichdi (ข้าวต้มอินเดีย)

  1. In a bowl, add tuvr dal and chana & Masoor dal in it. Add water and soak it for 10 mins and drain the water..
  2. Heat ghee in pressure cooker. Add onion and saute till translucent. Then add ginger, garlic paste, Fry for another 1 min then add red dried chilli, green chilli and tomato..
  3. Add salt, turmeric powder,red chili powder and coriander powder and kasoori methi mix it well. cook until tomato is mushy..
  4. Add soaked lentils and 3 cups of water..
  5. Pressure cook it for 4-5 whistles. If you don’t have pressure cooker, cook it in normal pot until lentils becomes soft..
  6. Cook rice in a separate pot (don’t cook it too soft).
  7. Once lentils (Dal) is cooked. Add cooked rice in and mix it well. Boil it for another 5 mins..
  8. P.S nature of lentils it does absorb water. If you don’t eat it right away it may become dry. Before eating just put ½ cup of water and warm it! Enjoy!!.
