- You need 3 tbsp of Besan.
- You need 1 cup of Grated Bottle Gourd.
- Prepare 1/2 cup of Grated Carrots.

- Prepare 1 tbsp of Ginger finely chopped.
- You need 1 tbsp of Green Chillies finely chopped.
- Prepare 1 tsp of Mustard.
- Prepare 1 tsp of Cumin.
- You need 1 tsp of Sesame.
- Prepare 1 pinch of asafoetida.
- Prepare few of curry leaves.

- Take the leftover Idli batter and add besan and all chopped veggies and coriander leaves. Mix everything well. Add salt and water if needed..
- Heat a pan with oil and splutter mustard, cumin, sesame, asafoetida and curry leaves. Pour 2 ladle of batter and let it cook from both sides until golden brown. It should be bigger and a little thicker than the Uthappam. Serve hot with Chutney or Sauce..
