Bahan Membuat Kabuli Channa Usal / Sundal

  1. You need 1/2 cup of Kabuli Channa.
  2. You need 1/4 tsp of Mustard Seeds.
  3. You need 1/4 tsp of Cumin Seeds.
  4. You need of Curry leaves a few.
  5. It's 2 of Green Chilli.
  6. It's 2 of Red Chilli.
  7. You need 4-5 of Garlic pods.
  8. You need 1/4 of " Ginger.
  9. It's of Coriander leaves finely chopped.
  10. Prepare 2-3 tbsp of Grated coconut.
  11. You need 1 tsp of Channa Dal.
  12. It's 1 tsp of Urad Dal.
  13. Prepare 1 pinch of Asafoetida.
  14. You need of Turmeric a little.
  15. Prepare of Juice of half lemon.
  16. You need 2 tbsp of oil.
  17. It's to taste of Salt.

Langkah Memasak Kabuli Channa Usal / Sundal

  1. Soak the Kabuli Channa overnight..
  2. Pressure cook the channa for 3-4 whistles..
  3. Make a coarse paste of green chilli, garlic and ginger..
  4. In a kadai heat oil..
  5. Add mustard seeds and Jeera, when they splutter add asafoetida, curry leaves and red chilli..
  6. Next add channa dal, urad dal and fry..
  7. Now add the green chilli, ginger and garlic paste and fry till the raw smell goes. Add turmeric and mix..
  8. Add the cooked channa to the tadka, add salt to taste and stir..
  9. Now add the chopped coriander and Grated coconut and mix..
  10. Finally add lemon juice..
  11. Kabuli Channa Usal / Sundal is ready to be served..
