Bahan Membuat Handvo Gujarati Delicacy

  1. Prepare 1 cup of rice.
  2. It's 1/2 cup of Chana Daal.
  3. It's 1/4 cup of Toor daal.
  4. It's 2 tbsp of Urad daal.
  5. You need 1/2 cup of curd/ dahi.
  6. Prepare 2 tbsp of oil.
  7. It's 8-10 of curry leaves.
  8. It's 1/2 tbsp of mustard seeds.
  9. It's 1 of carrot grated.
  10. Prepare 1 of Lauki grated and squeezed.

Langkah Memasak Handvo Gujarati Delicacy

  1. Mix Rice and all the daals together. Wash and soak for about 4 hours..
  2. After 4 hours drain the mixture, add dahi and blend to a smooth paste..
  3. Cover the mixture and let it ferment overnight at room temperature. (You can add 1 tbsp Eno / fruit salt for instant fermentation and skip overnight soaking)..
  4. In the morning, add grated carrot and bottleguard, spices as per your taste. And mix well..
  5. In a big wok (kadhai) add oil, mustard seeds and Curry leaves and let it sputter..
  6. Add the mixture and cover it. cook on slow for about 13-15 mins..
  7. Using a plate, reverse it in the kadhai, and cook for another 10-12 mins on slow heat..
  8. Take it out in a plate, cut in pieces and set it hot with any chutney or as is..
