  7. It's 1 Tsp of Turmeric Powder ... ..
  8. It's 1/2 of tomato ... . Medium size chopped finely.
  9. It's half of lemon a . Juice of.
  10. You need Optional of Coriander . [.
  11. You need fistful Optional of Peanuts . Scant [.

Langkah Memasak Gujarati Dal #GujaratiFood101

  1. Boil the soaked dal with turmeric, peanuts [Optional] and salt for 2 whistles on full flame and one whistle on medium flame..
  2. In a pan, heat ghee, add jeera..
  3. Add the boiled dal to it..
  4. Use hand blender to mash the dal a bit..
  5. Add the tomatoes and let it boil on a slow flame..
  6. Stir occasionally..
  7. Add jaggery..
  8. Once the froth on the dal is gone, it is ready to be served..
  9. Remove from heat and add the lemon juice..
  10. Taste to adjust the salt, Jaggery and lemon if need be..
  11. Serve with Rice or Bhakri..
