- Prepare tempering, add ghee to a small kadhai. Add cumin seeds and roast. Add hing and dry red chillies and roast..
- Add Kashmiri red chilli powder, turn off the flame immediately. Mix the chilli powder with ghee..
- Add this tempering to the khichdi..
