Bahan Membuat Nutritious Coconut khichdi

  1. You need 1/2 cup of Rice.
  2. It's 1/2 cup of bajra.
  3. Prepare 1/2 cup of moong Dal.
  4. You need 1/2 cup of masoor Dal.
  5. Prepare 1 cup of shredded Coconut.
  6. You need 1 of chopped Onion.
  7. It's 2 of chopped Tomato.
  8. It's 1 cup of chopped vegetables (carrot,beans,peas).
  9. It's of as required Water.
  10. It's 1 tbsp of Cumin seeds.
  11. It's 2 tbsp of Mustard Seeds.
  12. It's 1 of tspn Haldi powder.
  13. Prepare 1 inch of Cinnamon stick.
  14. It's 4-5 of black Peppercorns.
  15. Prepare 2-3 of dried red chillies.
  16. You need 4 tbsp of Tamarind pulp.
  17. You need to taste of Salt acc.
  18. You need 3 of tblspn Ghee.
  19. Prepare leaves of few chopped Curry.

Langkah Memasak Nutritious Coconut khichdi

  1. Take a pressure cooker and put rice, bajra, moong dal, masoor dal, chopped onion, chopped tomato, chopped vegetables (carrot, beans, peas), salt acc to taste and haldi powder..
  2. Add 1 glass of water..
  3. Now pressure cook it for 2-3 whistles..
  4. In the meanwhile, we make masala paste..
  5. Take a pan and start roasting peppercorns, cinnamon stick, dry red chillies, cumin seeds and in the end Shredded Coconut..
  6. Stir it continously for 2-3 mins. Now off the flame..
  7. When it cools down then put in the mixing jar to make a fine paste by adding little water and tamarind pulp. The paste should be smooth..
  8. Now take a kadhai by adding ghee in it..
  9. Add mustard seeds and curry leaves,.
  10. Now add masala paste and 1 or 2 cups of water..
  11. Mix it and see the consistency of water..
  12. Now add cooked rice dal mixture in it..
  13. Mix it well so that it is combined to each other properly..
  14. If it is thick then add more water..
  15. Now cover it with the lid for few mins..
  16. Serve it with chutney, papad or yogurt..
