Bahan Membuat Tikkha Gathiya

  1. Prepare 1 cup of besan.
  2. Prepare 1 tbsp of red chilli powder.
  3. Prepare 1/4 tsp of carrom seeds (ajwain).
  4. It's 1 tbsp of hot oil.
  5. Prepare to taste of Salt.
  6. Prepare of Oil for frying.

Langkah Memasak Tikkha Gathiya

  1. Keep oil kadhai for frying on medium flame. On other hand add besan,red chilli powder,carrom seeds,salt, in flat plate and pour hot 1 tbsp oil in it(from frying oil)..
  2. Mix and add little water to make tight smooth dough. Divide into two equal portions..
  3. Take one portion of prepared besan dough..add 2 tbsp of water and make it little soft dough. Place this soft dough on gathiya making holed tawa as shown..
  4. With your left hand take grip of gathiya making tawa handle, and with your right hand rub the soft besan dough from your end to opposite side, without lifting your hand.repeat this process of rubbing till all dough used up.Gathiya will formed in hot oil. Lift the gathiya making tawa from oil kadhai. Deep fry tikkha gathiya in hot oil till crispy...but not too reddish in colour..
  5. Similarly prepared gathiya with other remaining portion of besan dough. Store in airtight container..
  6. You can relish Tikkha Gathiya in teatime snack or you can use it in tomato- gathiya subzi also..
