  3. Wait until the milk thickens. It will take around 15 minutes, then add milk powder to them..
  4. Then add sugar, and combine well. The colour of the mixture starts to change. Now add rose essence, cardamom powder and wait until the mixture thickens..
  5. When the mixture thickens and it's non sticky to the kadaai turn off the stove..
  6. Transfer the mixture to a bowl and level them equally on all sides. Refrigerate them for 3-4 hours..
  7. After 3 hrs, cut the mixture into desirable shapes as per your wish. Decorate the sweet with almonds. Tasty Lauhi Barfi is ready to serve..
