  1. It's of tur dal.
  2. Prepare of ghee and oil.
  3. It's of mustard seeds.
  4. You need of fenugreek seeds.
  5. You need of turmeric powder.
  6. You need of red chilli powder.
  7. You need of asafoetida.
  8. It's of jaggery.
  9. You need of tamrind pulp.
  10. It's of peanuts.
  11. It's of Cumin coriander powder.
  12. It's of Salt.
  13. You need of grated ginger.
  14. You need of green chilli paste.
  15. You need of Dry red chilli.
  16. Prepare of as required Coriander for garnishing.
  17. You need of Dry dates(kharek).
  18. It's of bitter gourd.

Langkah Memasak Gujarati Bamania Dal

  1. Wash and soak dal for 1/2hr. Soak tamrind in water for pulp.
  2. Take a dal in cooker add 1/4tsp turmeric powder. Salt and 1tsp oil. Bitter gourd small chop and dry dates (kharek)Cover the lid. And make 4-5 whistles. Let it cool..
  3. Open cooker. Transfer in a pan. Do not beat or blend.Just mix with spoon add grated ginger salt asafoetida chilli paste cook on a slow flame..
  4. Now make a mixture of masala. Jaggery crushed peanuts cumin coriander powder chilli powder turmeric powder add in a dal. Add 1/2 glass water and cook on medium slow flame..
  5. For tadka:-Heat ghee fenugreek seeds mustard seeds dry red chilli asafoetida pour in a dal.Lastly add tamarind pulp mix well. Cover lid and simmer for 15-20 mins. Serve with rice.I loved dal with Kamod rice combination is good and enhances taste.
  6. Tasty delicious dal is ready to serve.Garnish with chopped coriander..
