- You need of Tuvar Dal [ Soaked for an hour1 ....
- Prepare of Water ... ..
- You need of Ghee .....
- You need of Jeera .. ..
- It's of Salt ..
- You need of masala Sambhar ....
- It's of Turmeric Powder ... ..
- You need of tomato ... . Medium size chopped finely.
- Prepare of lemon a . Juice of.
- You need of Coriander . [.
- You need of Peanuts . Scant [.
Langkah Memasak Gujarati Dal #GujaratiFood101
- Boil the soaked dal with turmeric, peanuts [Optional] and salt for 2 whistles on full flame and one whistle on medium flame..
- In a pan, heat ghee, add jeera..
- Add the boiled dal to it..
- Use hand blender to mash the dal a bit..
- Add the tomatoes and let it boil on a slow flame..
- Stir occasionally..
- Add jaggery..
- Once the froth on the dal is gone, it is ready to be served..
- Remove from heat and add the lemon juice..
- Taste to adjust the salt, Jaggery and lemon if need be..
- Serve with Rice or Bhakri..
