- Prepare of toor dal.
- You need of tomato chopped.
- You need of jaggery.
- It's of lemon juice.
- Prepare of cloves.
- Prepare of star anise.
- It's of dry red chillies.
- It's of Mustard seeds.
- It's of curry leaves.
- It's of Turmeric powder.
- It's of ginger grated.
- It's of chilli halved.
- You need of Asafoetida.
- It's of Shahi jeera.
- Prepare of Kashmiri Red chilli powder.
- It's of Salt.
- It's of Chopped coriander.
- Prepare of Oil.
Langkah Memasak Gujarati dal
- Wash toor dal well and then add in cooker. Then add water and steam it until it become soft..
- Then after steamed using hand blender crush it to a fine paste add ½ cup water and mix..
- Take utensil for tadka and add oil to it. Then add clove,red chilli dried, star anise and then add mustard seeds, Shahi jeera, asafoetida, curry leaves..
- Then cook for a while and again add crushed dal. Then mix and add salt, turmeric, Kashmiri red chilli powder, ginger, chilli and mix it..
- Then add jaggery, 1 lemon juice, mix it..
- Cook it for some time then add coriander. Now serve khatti mithi Gujarati dal with rice, papad..
